Random Babble / And on this day was hatched...

Happy birthday @Wryfinch !

I know you said you didn't need a thread, but SkypeClan has decided that you very much do! Thank you for being an awesome person, and have fun being a year older than you were yesterday! Enjoy your birthday! : D

I'm sorry I couldn't find a cake with actual finches, but here's some birds anyways!

NaNoWriMo / Most Recent Sentence!
« on: November 01, 2015, 07:04:31 PM »
Okay, so, this is really pretty simple and just for fun. Post the most recent sentence you wrote in your NaNoWriMo! (You could also post context if you want to explain what's happening)

At the moment, mine is 'He smells faintly of lemons.'. MC is on a plane and this is one of the other guys in his row.

NaNoWriMo / What's Your Plot?

So, it's officially October and the NaNoWriMo website has reset. You know what that means.

NaNoWriMo is bearing down upon us like a two-legged warthog with anger management issues and if we want to have any chance of not getting gored by its massive tusks, we'd better get on this whole 'plot, characters, setting' business.

...In other words, what are you planning to write for NaNo? Who are your characters? What's your setting? Genre? Share it. Share it allllllll.

Ww Fanfictions / Security Blanket (Sign-Ups Open, Chapter One Up)
« on: October 01, 2015, 09:41:56 PM »
It has been almost three years since Wishtown was founded, a fortress high up in the clouds and all but untouchable to those below. Its citizens, new and old, go about life in peace. The lost paradise of Warrior City lies broken and abandoned in the memories of those who once called it home.

And then, in the darkness just before dawn, the stars go out.

Now it is up to the citizens of Wishtown to leave their beloved home in the sky behind and venture into the ravaged land below, overrun with unspeakable monsters and unthinkable terrors, and return to the city they left for dead.

The path is dangerous.
The way is forgotten.
There is no other choice.

Basically, this story is supposed to end up being like steampunk/horror/adventure with maybe some humor mixed in because I like to think I'm funny. We'll see. I've got the outline of a plot in my head, but there's still a ton of flexibility within those bounds.

Art Nook / Eyyyy (Raintalon's Art Thread)
« on: October 01, 2015, 06:10:16 PM »
So I don't do art terribly often and don't post it on the Interwebs often either, but on the occasion that I do this is where I'll put it.

I'm not an art expert TBH, so don't expect sheer greatness.

Okay, so-- the artz:

Introductions / What is This Madness
« on: September 26, 2015, 08:57:38 PM »
Oh, hey! It's me!

Yeah, it's me.

I imagine that almost nobody remembers me (I went inactive years ago-- probably like three or four years, seriously), but I promise I was in fact an active member of V4. Probably an annoying one, too. I had the same username back then, so if you remember a Raintalon parading around, that was probably me. I would like to think that I have become a fair bit wittier and nicer since then *hair flip*-- but honestly, can't be too sure.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm a typical young American who spends far too much time on the Internet procrastinating. I blame the cows. I promise I don't bite.

I also seriously have to catch up on my Warrior Cats. Like, no, really-- where'd all these books come from?
