Oh my god yes I can def verify, pasta thing is delicious pls do yourself a favor and make it, impress your friends and family with your ability to melt cheese and cook pasta ;) It also tastes really good if you add in some chicken or shrimp imo

Anyways I'm super into collecting recipes, though I don't often have the patience to actually cook them? But boy howdy do I like to tell myself I will. I use the website copymethat to keep all my recipes, it's like a handy online cookbook that lets you easily collect recipes from a bunch of different websites in one place instead of just favoriting them in your browser (like I used to) lmao.

Looking at the recipes I've actually made here are a few good ones:

Egg Drop Soup:
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons water (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 drop yellow food coloring (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper (optional)
In a small saucepan, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a
 boil. Stir together the cornstarch and water to dissolve cornstarch;
pour into the boiling broth. Stir gently while you pour in the egg and
yellow food coloring if using. Season with chives, salt and pepper
before serving.

Panera Chicken and Rice Soup:
  • 1/2 cup finely diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  •    32 ounces chicken stock
  •   2 cups water
  •   2 cups milk, divided
  •   1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded or finely diced
  •   1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4.3-ounce box of Rice a Roni Long Grain and Wild Rice + seasoning packet
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • scallions, to garnish
1.   Place the carrots, celery, onion, and olive oil in a 6-quart Dutch oven to the soup pot. Allow the carrots, celery, and onion simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
2.    Add the garlic cloves, chicken stock, water, and 1 cup of milk to the mixture and mix.
3.    Add the pepper, dried oregano, bay leaf, and chicken. Mix until combined. Allow the soup to simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
4.    Whisk together the other 1 cup of milk with the 1/2 cup flour until smooth. Place into the soup mixture and whisk until combined.
5.    Place the long grain and wild rice and the seasoning packet into the soup and mix until combined. Allow the soup to simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6.    Serve and garnish with fresh scallions.

Nutella Mug Cake:
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • butter (just enough to coat the inside of the mug/ramekin)
Butter the inside of the mug (or ramekin).  Combine all ingredients into the oversized mug. Mix with a fork or a small whisk until smooth. The batter rises quite a bit, so be sure you have a large enough cup; you can also fill two small ramekins with this amount if you prefer. Cook it in the microwave for about 1 minute. A knife inserted should come out clean and the top of cake should look done. If the top is still not set, put it in for another 20 seconds. Serve with fresh whip cream or a small scoop of ice cream and fresh fruit.
Note: I don't usually think it's worth putting back in, it tastes better under-cooked than over-cooked imo

anyways I have several more recipes but I didn't want this post to be super long, and also it's a pain to re-format them for Ww lmao, maybe I will add more later :)

Random question guys; if it was my birthday today and you made a birthday thread, w-

*suspended 3DS with DD on, Turnabout Academy Trial Day 2*
*music playing is dark age of the law as the music*
*music stops*

*insert Neon hurriedly rushing off her 3DS to a charger*
*comes back*

Anyways, if it was my birthday and you made a thread, what would you call it?

And also my 3DS came back from repairs on Thursday. It's nearly the same but it almost looks like it was newly-brought but the date and time went awry so right now my 3DS' date is November 1st 2011.

@tinyfeather is our resident birthday queen, she'd be the best person to ask lol

but you know a lot of actual people died when the world trade center went down right...
I wasn't going to say anything to the first post but imo that's not a good taste of joke :\

After the maf died there was a brief moment where I thought I could have won as SK, wouldn't that have been exciting lol
but alas with the faction it would have been really hard for me to actually pull it off and I would have had to be super lucky

roommate, Saturday 11pm: (comes home and puts dinner party dishes in the sink) i'll wash them tomorrow afternoon when I get home. if I'm not coming home until later I'll text you guys (leaves for bfs house)

us, Sunday 11:59pm: well she hasn't been home and she hasn't said a word and her dishes smell really bad so we're going to take them out of the sink and put them in a bin of hot soapy water

roommate, Monday morning: don't put my dishes in a tub it's unsanitary and they were there for less than 24h and I didn't have time to empty the dishwasher because I spilled water everywhere trying to move the tub. i put my dishes Back in the sink. i'm mad at you for doing me a favor and rinsing off my dishes to let them resoak because they smelled bad and had onion all over them. i'm leaving this as a handwritten note despite saying I hated those because they're passive aggressive.

when will someone kill me I just want to live in a clean house
Oh my god that's the worst?? (also how is soaking dishes any less sanitary than jut letting them fester in the sink lmao)
I will fight ur roommate for you

unrelated: I'm finally updating my ios after over a year
I hate change because i am an actual child
but I'm hype about all the new messenger changes

i can't believe apple is getting rid of the headphone jack on the new iphone lmao who do they think they are
Honestly, though, what's the point of getting rid of it? I heard that they'll sell an adapter to use headphones with the charging port, but what if you want to charge it and listen to music at the same time? It just seems like a really weird idea to me.
Sounds like they're packaging the phone with some wireless headphones, but honestly how terrifying I'd lose or break those in a hot second
