The Warriors (Original Arc) Rewrite Project
« on: August 20, 2015, 09:03:08 PM »
Have you ever been disappointed in the way Warriors was handled? Do you think you could have done a better job than the Erins? Well, if you're looking for a fun project (possibly even a NaNo one), this is the right place for you.

Basically, this is a complete overhaul and rewrite of the entire original arc of the Warriors series. There are plenty of different jobs to do even if you're not interested in writing. We need editors and people to suggest changes and plot points as well!

One to three people can choose to work collaboratively on each book. We'll be starting with Into the Wild.

There are no requirements outside of basic spelling and grammar skills, as the editors of the series will be there to correct most mistakes. The roles are first come, first serve.

For the Into the Wild project, here are the slots for each job:

Writers:
Darkstar - prologue and chapters one through nine
? - chapters ten through eighteen
? - chapters nineteen through twenty-five

Editors:
Scartail & Dustfeather - spelling and grammar
? - consistency
Lightning - character tracking

Plotters:
1. --
2. --
3. --
4. --
5.  --
(More slots will open as needed.)

You are free to discuss the rewrite project in this thread even if you're not participating, so go (into the) wild with it!

Yes!!! I'm so happy you decided to post this!!

I'd like to help with Into the Wild- can I be one of the editors for character tracking?

Also if we ever get to Forest of Secrets, I'd like to help write the first part of that, but that's not for a while.

The game is on again- a lover or a friend?
A big thing or a small, the winner takes it all.

I've imagined this for so long and I'm so glad we're gonna be doing it!

Could I be an editor for spelling and grammar?

If there's an opening for more than one spelling and grammar proofreader I'd love to get involved with that :)

Sure, there can be two for spelling and grammar. After all, it pays to have someone to do a second look-over!
