Name: Dust LeCornflake
Gender/pronouns: Female; she/her
Appearance: Around average height (5'6") and fairly slim, but curvaceous. She has very pale skin and a lightly freckled face, with thin lips and a prominent nose that often looks a little too prominent in photos. Her pale grey eyes are definitely her best feature, and she makes sure to highlight them with bold black eyeliner. She has very thick ginger hair just past shoulder-length, with a fringe. Mostly wears dark colours (black, purple, grey, navy, etc.) and doesn't usually suit bright or pale colours, as they make her look rather washed-out. Typical outfit would be one of the following, depending on what she feels like wearing that day:
Purple
waterfall cardigan, black vest top, dark skinny jeans, black or brown boots, possibly some sort of necklace
Black pencil skirt with damask pattern, black lacy top (
something like this), dark tights, black boots
Always wears a watch and her Hammerfest wristband, both on her left wrist. Has eyebrow and lip piercings. On formal occasions she always wears purple lipstick.
Personality: Dust is an odd mix of shy and confident. She's happy to ask strangers for directions, express opinions, and other such things; but at the same time, she constantly worries she's accidentally coming across as rude or unfriendly, and will overcompensate with politeness as a result, often saying "thank you" and "sorry" far too much. If she thinks someone is being unfair or unreasonable, however, she will generally tell them, gently if possible. She prefers to err on the side of common sense, which can be useful when analysing situations, but conversely, if something doesn't make sense to her, she will become stressed and uncomfortable.
In terms of interaction with others, Dust needs plenty of space to herself; she finds too much company at once can be tiring, and prefers to be either alone or with one or two other people. She is open and honest about most things, but distrustful of overly audacious or aggressive people. She has moderate views on most issues, but will very occasionally be ignited to passion if there's something she feels particularly strongly about.
Dust's main weakness is her lack of energy; she is prone to laziness and finds it very difficult to motivate herself to do things she doesn't want to do. She needs plenty of relaxation, away from stressful or overstimulating situations. However, she is very much appreciative of things that are pleasing to the senses, be it a particularly enjoyable meal, a nice-smelling perfume, or an intricate drawing.
Habits: Apologising and saying thanks too much, nodding a lot (even when talking on the phone), playing with her hair and fingernails, forgetting what she was saying mid-sentence, and accidentally staying up until 4am.
Likes: Cats, music (particularly metal, as well as anything with piano in it), beauty in various forms (scenery, fashion, etc.), classic literature, pasta, tea (Earl Grey being her blend of choice), nature, going for walks, cuddles (when she's in the mood), penguins, and sleeping.
Dislikes: Colds, xenophobic people, rain, earwigs, babies and small children (particularly loud ones), tomatoes, crowded places (except gigs), football, "reality" TV shows, liquorice.
Friends/relationships in Wish: Good friends with most of the fanfic people (Scary, Tiny, Splashy, Glimmer, etc.). Would like to befriend some of the other people in the community, but is a bit too shy.
Job: Librarian, and occasional poet.
Pets: A black and white tomcat called Sprinkles.
Weapon of choice: Prefers to solve conflict through negotiation, but keeps a Swiss Army Knife on her in case things get rough.
Okay with killing/being killed?: Would prefer not to do either, but feel free to do whatever the plot demands :3 Even if she was being attacked, she'd probably try to disable her enemy before resorting to outright violence.
Other: Myers-Briggs is ISFP, temperament is somewhere between phlegmatic and melancholic, star sign is Aries, alignment is Lawful Good (occasionally veering into Neutral Good). Vegetarian, bi/pansexual (happy to be referred to as either), polyamorous. Can speak English, Welsh, and German, and play piano and violin. Utterly awful at dancing and any sport ever. Fears include fire and childbirth.
