the hell was with the onestar/darktail thing
that was a plot twist that I don't think anyone was expecting????? I know I certainly wasn't. But it does explain his hatred towards the Clans, the open malice he showed, as well as something as simple as his name?

ALSO THE KITTYPETS. ZELDA AND LOKI.

Harestar. Finally. Anyone got any ideas for his deputy? I want Nightcloud, Heathertail, or Sedgewhisker.

OH YEAH I'VE SEEN STUFF ABT THOSE KITTYPETS. And I'm happy for Harestar, too, and I like all of those choices ... let's hope none of them die during this arc, because the Erins have been kill happy lately :'D

No, it really was so unexpected. I read it and my jaw dropped. So much could be explained with that plot twist..... so very much. I'm also glad that Onestar finally owned up to his actions and took responsibility, instead of avoiding the problem at hand..er, paw, maybe? While it really doesn't excuse Onestar's mandarinesque actions prior to that, it's quite nice to see that even Onestar has his doubts and worries, just like any other cat would have. I certainly would think he wouldn't go to the Dark Forest.. after all, Mudclaw went to StarClan.
Also can we have Onestar, Tallstar, and Mudclaw exchange words? Because now that all three of them are dead, I really want to see what happens when they encounter each other.
I think Harestar will lead WindClan well; he does seem to at least have some common sense and respect for the other Clans, and wasn't a total idiot, unlike his predecessor. I can only hope that WindClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan have some time to recover before they're all jumping at each other....

AND NOW WE HAVE SKYCLAN BACK. Twigpaw and Violetpaw are given the choice to go with Hawkwing (WE ALL CALLED IT LMAO), and I'm kinda hoping that they do? Also, they need a medicine cat, so my own prediction is that Alderheart goes to SkyClan with them, because his bond with Twigpaw is mentioned so many times in Shattered Sky. So so so many times. Plus, I honestly can't see Alderheart being okay with being seperated from Twigpaw just at the drop of a feather- Twigpaw and his sister are probably the cats closest to him... but we really don't see much of Alderheart and Sparkpelt anymore... it's always Twigpaw and Alderheart.

Wow, the Onestar thing was indeed a twist. I don't like it, though.  His explanation is so far off from the personality of the character we knew from back then, and it was just so... random.

My Harestar deputy prediction is Sedgewhisker: they often tend to choose cats we've seen a bit more, and she's not too old but not too young either; she went on the journey to the beavers and all.

My prediction for SkyClan is that Dovewing and Tigerheart will go there so that they can be together. Probably Violetpaw too, since she really has nothing left for her in ShadowClan. Twigpaw I'm not so sure of, but I'm thinking probably so - I bet partly to be with her sister, and partly because ThunderClan's let her down too many times.  And yeah, Alderheart I'm guessing will go: ThunderClan's not gonna keep 3 medicine cats forever, especially not when one Clan has none.

This book felt surprisingly like the end of an arc, I can't believe we have 3 more books to fill yet!  I'm guessing at least part of it will cover SkyClan finding a territory and settling in. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up dragging the Tribe into things too somehow.
