happy Birthday, @Neon Skylite ! idk if it's still your birthday (idk where you are in relation to the US, but whatever~)
It's still my birthday! Right now, Australia's eastern coast is 11 hours ahead of GMT. I would make some relations to the US, but then I saw it had 7 zones and thought "naaaaaaaaaaaaaah". Your post, for example, was posted just a minute before 2:00 PM AEDT.
- And by Eastern Coast, I mean Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. I dunno what's the names for the middle and western coasts, but the Northern Territory and South Australia have the middle coast time and Western Australia has their time zone all to itself.
it looks like a really big state (WA is the biggest state) but the density is very low due to the eastern coast being more desirable, similar to Canada being big but since the weather is cold and mean the density is lowWhen daylight savings turns off (2nd of April in 2017 we'll turn back our clocks at 3 AM, so yay, one extra hour of sleep) it's back to AEST +10:00. When October starts, turn it forward and our timezone becomes AEDT +11:00 till next change rolls around.
