what's the general rule of thumb in fanfics for g / pg / pg 13?

also: why was the confessions board locked??? :\

tbh I don't know specifically about that, but, I'd guess just don't be too wildly inappropriate? and use applicable content warnings before fics, or something?
and we covered the confessions thing on skype but for anybody else looking, it was an accident due to poorly-placed lock buttons and mobile phones!

more of a list for me than anybody else, BUT I made a new version of catscratch with softer colors (green instead of bright pink! also it shows post ranks in addition to clan alignments!!) and there's things that need fixin:
- somehow the userarea lost the word "PM" and "Unread"
- last option on dropdowns is not part of the gradient
- link colors in general don't stand out that much from certain clan colors, or from plain text, for that matter. a more saturated color might be better?
- probably more stuff idk
- I would like it to have dropdown menus similar to the other themes' dropdown menus. need to look into that



ALSO ALSO, if anybody has ideas for themes, I kind of understand how to work them now so I can try to put things together! If anybody wants me to frankenstein some things from certain themes together into a new one, I can certainly give it a shot, though no promises!

we briefly talked in ww's skype chat about having color-swappable theme variants based on clan/tribe colors, with both light and dark colors of each. obviously this would be a huuuuge project, but which theme would be the best to get it started on?

Ahh, the green colors for the new theme work really really well with my eyes, I like it!! As for Clan-specific themes, that sounds like a really fun idea, and maybe try it on the theme you just tweaked??

original flavor ww theme is LIVE AND RUNNING!!! :')

fixlist:
- clan colors against the Users Online look treacherous. same with the leaderboard. they burn. help. how do we fix this
- bottom color different? (i haven't seen this anywhere yet)
- bigger font size? yes/no?  -- okay I upped the font size but it messed up the padding in posts (?), so. that looks a little strange right now
- ^ might help with seeing the black text against the darker brown. could switch around the tan/brown so topics on the list have opposite colors (like on older versions)
- table border colors (who's online, etc) aren't consistent -- like the checkboxes on the pm list won't turn white?
- little <?> broken characters everywhere ;_;
- award box lines (throws up arms) the stylesheet doesn't seem to have the #ccc border color


- main_block for the spaces between posts. it's just the background color and it looks weird, maybe because there's no padding at the top of posts...? what should i make it? i've made it the star banner now, is it okay or too cluttery looking?
- anything with black font is difficult to read on the bg (page numbers, etc) hit the main offenders already but let me know if you find more!
- successful actions (drafts, sent message, maybe uploaded things?) are green


- menu bar at the top looks slightly pinkish
- .information background
- menu bar, bar at the bottom of the forum, bg image at the bottom of the forum
- buttons on topics. they're a weird color right now
- "Child Board" font colors
- look into the poster color to see if there's a way to make it alternate with the posts
- new/old icons don't have very much contrast. would like this upped a bit (can the old ones get grayer?? anybody want to do this for me?)
- miniprofile font color, and border lines (why does it squiggle at the top??)
- many links (in posts, probably elsewhere) turn green when hovered over
- remove useless things from miniprofile (inventory, send money, referrals -- unless anybody really wants these?) - put them on main profile instead you have to manually fill out these profile fields but they'll show up, pre-coded, on your profile once you put in your username!


give me input, find things that look weird for me to fix, etc!!

the other thing i notice is that there's no line at the bottom of the mini profiles

unrelated: top rank is "StarClan" instead of "StarClanner"... lol it's kind of funny because on the profiles it's like

my opinion: referrals can go, since they are on main profile not super relevant, but if we remove the view inventory and send money links from the mini profiles can they be put on the main profile?

other things i've noticed:

-left hand edge of tables don't have the white border
-i sent a pm earlier and the "your message was sent" notification thing was still green themed
-quote/modify/delete etc. links are green when you hover over them

there's a white border on the top, bottom and right but not the left

and also because the page is too short for my screen there's a different color at the bottom lol

edit: sooo... i wonder if this helps you but as for the line on the mini profiles squiggling at the top, i looked in inspect element and when i changed the width on poster ul li from 94% to 95% it looks right??

They're yellow (Clans/Tribe) and red (modmins) on the default theme as well. ... which I keep finding myself going back to for the sake of the spinning avatar icon. .o.
